Jeni & Jason Engagement

Jeni & Jason are our favorite kind of clients. Flexible, funny and in-love! We arrived to their shoot in Huntington Beach and drove right into a huge cloud of literal darkness. (I always trip out because we get one day of crappy light and we're so thrown off. It's funny because we have amazing photographer friends all over the country and they deal with snow, rain, and all kinds of real elements and here I am complaining about a little light challenge J)

 Any-hoo, we met up with them and their pups and they were all smiles and so excited to get started. Light-schmight, Jeni and Jason rocked it out!

 So kids, the moral of the story is: loving the person you want to marry always trumps crappy light, ALWAYS.

Cesar + Nayivi Married!
09.09.10
Cesar and Nayivi were friends FOREVER. The slideshow of their history made me cry. I love watching two people literally grow together. SO sweet.

They married each other all these years later at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The Architecture is gorgeous and the flowers, by Xavier's Florist, were a stunning accompaniment. Nayivi surrounded herself by the most amazing ladies on her wedding day. 
(BRIDES: surround yourself with the freinds that will stand by you forever. The girls that will tear up on your wedding day because they know what an amazing commitment you're stepping into.) These girls just loved on her all day and they were helpful and sweet. I SO enjoyed spending time with them at the Omni Hotel and listening to them laugh and tell stories. 

After the ceremony we headed over to the Walt Disney Concert Hall to take some portraits and then back to the Cathedral grounds for their reception. I loved their tearful toasts and watching their beautiful family and friends dance the night away.

Nayivi and Cesar, we hope you guys had SO much fun in Playa Del Carmen. Enjoy every moment you get with your spouse. You get to build a life together! How rad is that?!

Samia + Nema
09.02.10
Samia and Nema held an extravagant Persian influenced ceremony at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. Samia looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown which turned into a sassy mini just in time for cake cutting and toasts. She has a fun and feisty personality so that mini along with her hot pink Louboutins was a home run! It was a gorgeous day and the music and dancing was amazing! I would have to say my own personal favorite element of their day was the yummy, individually boxed donuts for the drive home. D-lish!

Thanks Samia and Nema for asking us to be a part of your day. We hope you had SO much fun honeymooning in Bora Bora.
