Sometimes we have the opportunity to help out some of our close friends. Awhile back I (Matt) got to shoot a super fun wedding with our friend Megan, Megan K Photography. The location Eagle Glen was surprisingly sweet...the staff was very good to us, letting us pretty much shoot wherever we wanted. Annette and Brian were so cool, they're very much in love which always makes our job so easy. Check out this sweet couple...

We were worried it would rain all day long the day of Jodi and Casey's wedding...it did, sort of. The weather was wet and wild on our drive out to Simi Valley, the weather was not very California like much of the day...but lucky us when we needed the skies to clear up so we could shoot outside, well they didn't but it stopped raining just enough for us to get some portraits outside, then it hailed and rained and rained some more. It was a day that reminded me of how great it is to live in California most other days. But most of all it was just super rad to be a part of Jodi & Casey's big day...the weather or sickness didn't stop them from dropping a whole lot awesome on us. We had the pleasure of working with a great coordinator Brandi with Skybox Event Productions at a pretty sweet location called The Vineyards. Floral arrangements were done up by Flowers by Susan. The tunes were brought to us by Cameron from Creative Sounds DJs. Now take a look...

Kyle has been the kind guy loving Erica for as long as I can remember. They have been friends for years and they take care of each other like best friends do. It's stories like theirs that really make me appreciate my chosen profession. Watching best friends marry each other is the most romantic thing I can think of. Kyle is a standup guy and I know he will take care of Erica, Kaelen and their precious little boy to be for the rest of his life.

The day was beautiful and filled with all the wedding necessities: tears, joy, awesomeness, dancing and CAKE!  Enjoy...
